Done in order to take a break from working on ~KimmiKala's all digital art trade. I wanted to do something in entirely traditional media. :heart:

So in the latest chapter of Shugo Chara, yet another guilty anime pleasure of mine, it was basically implied that my favorite OTP, Ikuto Tsukiyomi and Amu Hinamori, would be the official canon romance. :wh00t!:

It was also declared that the 47th chapter of the manga would be the last. So I did this piece to commemorate that. I'll probably do one more with all the characters, not just these two. <3

In the original sketch, the Guardian characters were also in it, but I felt they detracted from the overal image. So I removed them. :ohnoes:

Well the final product, I'm EXTREMELY satisfied with. I like Amu's summery clothes in contrast to Ikuto's calmer, bluer scheme. And the background...I'm very, very proud. I rarely ever do good backgrounds. But I'm forcing myself to do so now because I read recently that backgrounds make the picture. :nod:
